My experience at the Royal Motel was very BAD. I attended a memorial service at Moses Hill Cemetery then to Taste of Texas Bar-be-cue. I left to go get a room at the Royal Motel. I arrived there at about 3:00pm. I checked in, paid $51+ cash for the room. I moved into the room. While watching the Nebraska Football game followed by the Michigan game I went to use restroom. I saw 3 dead bugs on the floor and a live one which I quickly stepped on to kill it. I probably was there less than 3 hours. I immediately packed up my belongings, called the office and asked someone to come to the room to see what I had found. When the desk clerk came to the room he offered to sweep up the bugs. I told him that would be checking out and I expected a full refund. He said he would call his supervisor. I followed him to the office . He said the supervisor said I had been in the room too long to get a refund. I just wanted you to know about their unfair treatment.
